Pastor Scott William Kahler, age 54, dedicated husband to Ledia Hart Kahler, of Anderson, SC, went home to be with his Lord on Saturday, July 24, 2021, at AnMed Health Medical Center. Born June 4, 1967, in Armada, MI, he was the son of the late Robert Kahler and Lee Wanda Hughes. Pastor Kahler owned and operated Kahler Auto Sales for 27 years. He was the founder of Seek the Truth Addiction Ministry which he was very actively involved in and was a member of Gethsemane Baptist Temple. In addition to his loving wife, Ledia, he is survived by his sons, Justin Kahler and Brian Elrod; brothers, Todd Kahler (Kim) and Bryan Kahler; sister, Sherry Castellanos; and grandchild, Kinsley Elrod. The family will receive friends Wednesday, July 28, 2021, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at The McDougald Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held Thursday, July 29, 2021, at 2:00 p.m. at Gethsemane Baptist Temple with Rev. Sam Duncan and Rev. John Christmas officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park. The family will be at the residence, 191 Amberwood Dr., Anderson, SC 29621. Flowers will be accepted.
