Patricia Campbell Freeman, age 86, of Anderson, SC, passed away Sunday, May 22, 2022, at Rainey Hospice House. Born April 22, 1936, in Calhoun Falls, SC, she was the daughter of the late Bill Campbell and Ruth Manning Campbell. She was married to the late Dewey A. Freeman. Patricia formerly worked at Sears and was a door greater at Sam's Club for 19 years. She was a member of John Wesley United Methodist Church. She is survived by her sons, Brad Freeman (Doris), and Marty Freeman both of Anderson; sister, Barbara Ramsey (Amos); granddaughters, Elizabeth Freeman, Chandler Herbert (Matt), Alex Driver (Kevin), and Wes Wheeler (Ellie); great grandchildren, Cullen Herbert, Sloan Driver and soon to be great granddaughter, Ruth Herbert; and bonus grandchildren, Draisen Hipp, Madisen Hipp, and Kimberly Smith. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Calvin Campbell; and sisters, Mary Phillips, Jean McGuffin, Dot Babb, and Jane Barksdale. The family will receive friends Wednesday, May 25, 2022, from 1:00-2:30 pm at The McDougald Funeral Home. The funeral service will begin at 3:00 pm in the Chapel with Rev. Kurt Stutler officiating. A private committal service will be held at M.J. Dolly Cooper Veterans Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of the Upstate, 1835 Rogers Rd., Anderson, SC 29621.
