Hampton Street, Anderson, SC, died Thursday, April 5, 2007 at the AnMed Health Medical Center in Anderson.Born in Pickens County, SC on June 27, 1938, Mrs. Looney was the daughter of the late Roy Tant and Etrulia Seaborn Tant. She had formerly worked for the Anderson Independent-Mail and was a homemaker. She was a member of the First Community Church in Anderson.Survivors include her daughters, Debbie Simpson and her husband, Steve of Iva and Tammy Pruitt and her husband, Connie Mac of Anderson; three grandchildren, Tonya Simpson, Thomas Simpson and Lauren Simpson and four great-grandchildren.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Crystal Hawkins and two brothers, Chester Tant and Doyle Tant. A Graveside Service will be held on Saturday, April 7, 2007 at 11:00 am at Forest Lawn Memorial Park officiated by the Reverend Wayne Toye. The family will receive friends immediately following the graveside service.The family will be at the home of her daughter, Debbie Simpson, 501 Craft McGee Road, Iva, SC.
