Patricia (Pat) Pharr entered into the joys of the Lord on April 12, 2023, at Rainey Hospice House. She was surrounded by all of her children as she made her journey home. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ray and Lillie Mae Adams; brother, Earnest R. Adams; and sister, Mary Ruth Gordon. She is survived by a son, David Roton of Pendleton; daughters, DeeDee Shead (Dean) and Beverly Isom (Greg) both of Anderson; grandchildren, Rachel Ghany (Sonny), Jessica White, Juvan Mitchell (Nathan), McKenzie Richey (Curtis), and Chandler Isom; 7 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Pat loved her church family and when she was able, attended faithfully and took part in nursing home and AWANA ministries. An avid cook, she was the previous owner of Patty Boy's Restaurant in Canton, Georgia. Her fried chicken was always a crowd favorite. She loved to decorate for every holiday so it was easy to find which home in the neighborhood belonged to her. She loved wearing scarves and all things shiny-she was a diva before being so was cool. Her laugh, her smile, and her love are remembered by all. Most importantly, she loved Jesus and made Him Lord of her life. She was very confident in the hope, the complete healing, and the splendor that she now enjoys. The family will receive friends Saturday, April 15, 2023, from 5:00-7:00 pm at The McDougald Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held Sunday, April 16, 2023, at 2:00 pm at Faith Baptist Church with Rev. Greg Hammon and Rev. Lanny Phillips officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
