Patricia Ann Watson, age 77, of Starr, SC, passed away on Tuesday, October 20, 2026, at AnMed Medical Center.

Born January 11, 1949, in Anderson, SC, she was the daughter of the late Howard Frank Leford and Virginia Doris Taylor McClain. She was also preceded in death by her sister, Mary Beasley; and sisters-in-law, Martha Whiten and Nancy Leford.

Ann loved her family and was a wonderful mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, and friend. She enjoyed gardening, her dachshunds and cocker spaniels, and never passed up the opportunity to have a Skins hotdog. Ann had a big personality, spoke her mind, and loved to have fun. She was retired from BASF Englehard in Seneca.

She is survived by her daughter, Holly Ann Smith; significant other, Hughie Bridges; brothers, Jerry Whiten and James Ledford; sister, Linda Erwin (Frankie); grandchildren, Zachery Jones (Kelsey) and Gracie Smith; great granddaughter, Aubree Jones; and former husband and close friend, Ronald "Ronnie" Watson.

The family will receive friends on Monday, October 26, 2026, from 1:00-1:45 pm at The McDougald Funeral Home. The funeral service will begin at 2:00 pm. Entombment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park Veterans Mausoleum.
