Patricia Locke Williamson, age 80, passed away on Tuesday, January 26, 2016 at the Rainey Hospice House. Born in Anderson, SC on December 29, 1935, she was the daughter of the late Buel Thornton Locke and the late Macie Caldwell Burton Locke. She retired from Anderson School District 5 after 34 years of service. She and her husband were charter members of Forest Hill Baptist Church. She will be remembered for her love, devotion, and commitment to her family, her caring spirit, and her selfless desire to do for others. She is survived by two sons, David Williamson (Tammy) of Columbia, SC and Mark Williamson of Belton, SC; two brothers, Kenneth M. Locke and Douglas T. Locke both of Anderson, SC; and four grandchildren, Kyle, Eric (Sarah), Cal, and Fenn. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Wilton "Sonny" Calaway Williamson, Jr.; and an infant daughter, Patricia Williamson. The Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home on Saturday, January 30, 2016 at 3:30 p.m. with Reverend Tom Owen officiating. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday, prior to the service, from 1:30 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. The family would like to express their deep gratitude for the tremendous love and support provided over the last several months.
