Patrick McLeod, age 68, passed away on Saturday, August 27, 2016. Born in Fort Jackson, Columbia, SC, on July 21, 1948, he was the son of the late Elmore McLeod and the late Ruby Brunt McLeod. He proudly served his country in the United States Navy. Patrick was the owner and operator of Economy Saw Sharpening for many years. He attended Holiday Church in Ware Shoals, SC. He is survived by his loving wife, Barbara Napp McLeod, three sons, Joshua McLeod (Jodie), of Rock Hill, SC, Jeremiah McLeod, of Belton, SC, and Jacob McLeod (Melinda), of San Diego, CA; two brothers, Charles McLeod (Josie), of Hickory Tavern, SC, and John McLeod, of Columbia, SC; three sisters, June Cheeks (John), of Thunderbolt, GA, Sandra Dickerson (Randy), of Gaston, SC, and Martha Sharpe, of Gaston, SC; and five grandchildren, Matthew, Shawn, Patrick, Wendell, and Dutch. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three sisters, Mary Cooper, Gloria Ramsey, and Sarah Branham; and one brother, Elmore McLeod, Jr. The Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home on Thursday, September 1, 2016, at 2:00 p.m. with Reverend Byron Wood officiating. Interment will follow at M.J. Dolly Cooper Veteran's Cemetery with Military Honors.
