Patrick Alexander Wheeler, was born December 17, 1966, to Mrs. Dezrie Smith Wheeler and the late Mr. Carlton Alvin Wheeler. Patrick passed away on Wednesday, April 24, 2024, at AnMed Health, Anderson, SC. Patrick was employed with Kadant Unaflex, LLC, Anderson, SC, for the past 17 years as a quality control supervisor.

Patrick is survived by his wife, Jackie Wheeler of the home, mother, Mrs. Dezrie Wheeler of Ellenwood, GA, Sister Sharrie Wheeler of Ellenwood, GA. Children, Cassandra Wheeler, Piffani Wheeler, Tanesha Wheeler, Theresa (Alexandria) Wheeler, Patrick "Elon" Wheeler, and Myreisha Gaines, 11 grandchildren, four aunts, and one uncle. He is survived by a host of cousins and friends. He is also survived by his in-laws, Kathleen Brown Gaines (the late Thomas Gaines) of Hartwell, Ga., sisters-in-law, Carol Brown of Hartwell, GA and Tammy Mason of Royston, GA. Brothers-in-law, Larry (Betty) Brown of Hartwell, GA, Kenny (Marie) Brown of Florida and Michael Gaines of Greer, SC.

Patrick loved life and doing what he loved most, which was making people laugh. He had a way with people and was genuine to the heart. His smile was captivating and lifted the worst of sorrows. His presence was limitless. Patrick never met a stranger. He loved family, movies, and animals, especially his dog Butch. Patrick will be missed.

A gathering of family and friends will be held on Wednesday, May 1, 2024, from 1:00-2:00 pm at The McDougald Funeral Home.
