Patsy Sosby Burton, age 80, of Anderson, SC, passed away peacefully on Friday, January 26, 2024, at National Health Center of Anderson.

Born June 30, 1943, in Clayton, GA, she was a daughter of the late Joe Marvin Sosby and the late Edith Watts Sosby. In August 2023 Mrs. Burton lost her husband of 62 years, Olin Marshall Burton.

Mrs. Burton was devoted to her family and loved to travel. She was dedicated to her family and was proud of her son, beautiful grandchildren, and precious great grandchildren. Her family, husband and home were her life.

Mrs. Burton is survived by her son, Robert E. Burton (Hattie); grandchildren, Sara Reeder (Leslie) and Susie Burton; and great grandchildren Cheri Reeder and Ezra Reeder.

A private family service will be held at a later date.
