ANDERSON, SC'Mrs. Patsy Brown Looney, age 69, loving wife of Doyle Looney, of 702 Parkwood Drive, Anderson, SC died Friday, February 3, 2006 at her residence.Born in Wilkes County, GA on August 23, 1936, Mrs. Looney was a daughter of the late Justice D Brown and the late Nettie Lois Colbert Brown. She was formerly employed by Bobbie Dan Manufacturing, Stone Manufacturing of Lavonia, GA, Cambrai, and Alterations Unlimited. She was also a member of Temple Baptist Church where she was a Sunday School Teacher and a member of the Joy Club.Mrs. Looney is survived by her husband, Doyle Looney of the home; two sons, Mike Looney and his wife Janice, of Belton, SC and Mark Looney and his wife, Marty of Anderson; five grandchildren, Michael Looney and his wife Lora, Kevin Looney and his fianc'e, Whitney Peace, and Elizabeth, Rebecca, and Angela Looney all of Anderson, SC; two great-grandchildren, Zachary and McKenna Looney; three brothers, Troy and Stewart Brown both of Wilkes County, GA and Foy Brown of Escondido, CA; and a sister, Geraldine Banks of Lincolnton, GA. Mrs. Looney was a loving and giving wife, mother, and grandmother.In addition to her parents, Mrs. Looney was preceded in death by a brother, Sam Brown and three sisters, Sybil Wilson, Montine Chafin, and Doris Andrews. The family is at the residence.
