PATSY TABOR REECE Patsy Ruth Tabor Reece, age 73, of 293 P Cromer Road, Abbeville, passed away at her residence on Sunday, July 12, 2015. Born in Anderson on April 5, 1942, she was the daughter of the late Jim Frank Tabor and the late Ruth Moore Tabor. Mrs. Reece was a graduate of Crescent High School, Class of 1960. For many years she was employed by Clemson University in the Personnel Department. She was a member of Southside Baptist Church in Anderson. Patsy has always had a deep love of animals, and playing the piano. She was a former church pianist. Perhaps her greatest love was for her children and grandchildren. Survivors include her husband, James "Spank" Reece of the home; two sons, Donald Ray McCollum, Jr. and his wife, Starla, of Ball Ground, GA; Steven Patrick McCollum and his wife, Jessica, of Woodstock, GA; stepsons, James C. Reece, Jr. of Iva and William Robert Reece of Anderson; a brother, Jimmy Frank Tabor of Anderson; two sisters, Bobbie Tabor Wilson and husband, Wendell, of Anderson, Mickee Tabor Crisp and husband, Bill, of Starr; an aunt, Madge Lundkovsky of Anderson; fifteen grandchildren and five great-grandchildren also survive. The Funeral Service to honor and celebrate the life of Patsy Tabor Reece will be held on Friday, July 17, 2015, at 11 a.m. in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home with Rev. Gordy Craft and Rev. Ray Thompson officiating. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park. The family will be at the home of Bobbie and Wendell Wilson, 412 Dunhill Drive, Anderson, and will receive friends at The McDougald Funeral Home on Thursday, July 16, 2015, from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Contributions in memory of Mrs. Reece may be made to the Anderson County Humane Society, 407 Pearman Dairy Road, Anderson, SC 29625.
