Patricia Ellen Roddy Hoepfl, age 79, of Anderson, SC, passed away Wednesday, April 13, 2022 at NHC Healthcare Anderson. Born January 28, 1943, in Philadelphia, PA, she was the daughter of the late John Joseph Roddy and Alice V. Tobin Roddy. She was married to Robert Thomas "Bob" Hoepfl until his death in 2019. Patti spent her career as an educator and was a member of St. Andrew Catholic Church in Clemson. She loved puzzles, sewing, gardening and watching and feeding the birds. She is survived by her children, Emily Hoepfl, Erin Hoepfl, and Neil Hoepfl; grandchildren, Olivia, Dorian, and Rylee; and sister, Mary Ann Anderson. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Jacqueline J. Roddy; and brother, Richard B. Roddy. A memorial service will be held Saturday, May 7, 2022, at 4:00 pm in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home. The family will receive friends immediately following the service.
