Pauline Gobeille LaPlante, age 74, of Anderson, SC, passed away Saturday, January 15, 2022, at Regency Hospital of Greenville. Born June 12, 1947, in Southbridge, MA, she was a daughter of the late Richard Gobeille and Doris Brassard Gobeille. Pauline worked as a director of food distribution for child care services. She is survived by her husband, Richard Paul LaPlante; son, Jeffery Allen LaPlante of Atlanta, GA; daughter, Denise Marie LaPlante Self of Greenville, SC; brother, Roger Gobeille of Southbridge, MA; sisters, Judy McCarthey, Lucille Stager, Joyce Paul of Easley, SC, Nancy Beolanger, and Debbie Henolt; 3 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by 1 brother. The family will receive friends Sunday, January 30, 2022, from 4:00-6:00 pm at The McDougald Funeral Home, 2211 N. Main St., Anderson, SC. The funeral service will be held Monday, January 31, 2022, at 10:00 am in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home with Deacon Michael Thompson officiating. Mrs. LaPlante's final resting place will be M.J. Dolly Cooper Veterans Cemetery. Flowers will be accepted. The family will be at the residence.
