Pauline D. Latham, 95, of Anderson, SC, passed away Monday, September 7, 2020 at NHC Healthcare Anderson. Born November 2, 1924, in Anderson, she was the daughter of the late George Washington Donaldson and Ruby Jane Williams Donaldson. She was married to the late Calvin Thomas Latham. Pauline was a graduate of Gaffney High School and was formerly a patient care sitter. She was the oldest member of Andersonville Baptist Church. She is survived by her son, Thomas Wayne Latham (Joyce) of Anderson; brother, Ken Donaldson (Mary Ann) of Shelby, NC; granddaughter, Kelly Latham Ray; great-grandchildren, Asher Thomas, Jude Willam, and Finley Jo Ray; and son-in-law, Roy Butler and his daughter, Lanita. Also surviving, is a special great-niece, Lori Migala, who was faithful in her visits and cards to Mrs. Latham. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Brenda Butler; brother, Robert L. Donaldson; sister, Louise Rollins; and great-grandchildren, Quinn and Sawyer Ray. The funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 10, 2020 at 11:00 am in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home with Rev. Bruce Evans and Rev. Jerry Parnell officiating. Due to COVID-19, Mrs. Latham will lie in state prior to the service from 9:00 am to 10:30 am to allow friends and family an opportunity to pay their respects and sign the Guest Register. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Andersonville Baptist Church, 6902 Dobbins Bridge Rd., Anderson, SC 29626. The family will be at the home of Wayne Latham, 201 Forest Cove Rd., Anderson, SC 29626.
