PAULINE MCCOY November 25, 1916 - March 5, 2013 STARR, SC Pauline Caro Terry McCoy, age 96, wife of the late Robert F. McCoy, passed away on Tuesday, March 5, 2013, at the Rainey Hospice House. Born in Anderson County, she was the daughter of the late Richard Erwin Terry and the late Carrie Bruce Terry. She was a former employee of Jackson Mill and Crescent High School. She was a life-long member of Iva Wesleyan Church, serving as a former Sunday School Teacher and in all of the children's activities. She enjoyed traveling, sewing and quilting. She is survived by her children, Robert Carlton McCoy and his wife Cathy, Jerry McCoy and his wife Lois, Carolyn Cody and her husband Michael, Paulette Beusse and her husband Alan and Leonard McCoy and his wife Carolyn; a daughter-in-law, Jane McCoy; three brothers, Alvin, Amos and John Terry; 13 grandchildren, Bobby, Tommy and Kenny McCoy, Jean Garber, Troy McCoy, Matthew and Mark Cody, Jan Harvey, Lee Beusse, Rick McCoy, Jacob McCoy, Cindy Romano and Terry McCoy; and 19 great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband of 72 years, Mr. Robert F. McCoy, she was preceded in death by a son, Richard "Freddie" McCoy; two infant grandchildren; two brothers; and four sisters. The family will be at their respective homes and will receive friends at The McDougald Funeral Home on Friday, March 8, 2013, from 12:30 PM until 1:30 PM. The Funeral Service will follow at 2:00 PM in the chapel with Reverend Ron Rogers officiating. Interment will follow in the Iva City Cemetery.
