PAULINE SNOW June 12, 1921 - September 10, 2012 ANDERSON, SC Pauline Frances Purgason Snow, age 91, passed away on Monday, September 10, 2012 at Seneca Health and Rehab. Born in Stokesdale, NC, she was the daughter of the late James William Herbert Purgason and the late Florence Hicks Purgason. She grew up in the Bethany Community and attended Bethany High School. She lived in Greensboro, NC for many years and was a member of South Elm Street Baptist Church. Pauline moved to Anderson in 2005 and lived at Summit Place for several years. She loved and cared for her family dearly. Survivors include her son, James Michael "Mike" Snow and his wife Debbie of Anderson; two grandchildren, Anna Snow Cheek and her husband Brian of Anderson and Adam Michael Snow and his wife Lucy of Charlotte, NC; and two great-grandchildren, Carter and Jay Cheek. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Clifford Snow, five brothers and one sister. The Funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 13, 2012 at 2:00 pm at South Elm Street Baptist Church. Interment will follow at Lakeview Memorial Park. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm at the church.
