Brown of 2235 Bethany Church Road, Belton, SC, died Friday, May 11, 2007 at the AnMed Health Medical Center in Anderson, SC.Born in Travelers Rest, SC, Mrs. Brown was a daughter of the late Jewell Lester Holloway and Ella Goldsmith Holloway. She was a member of Cross Hill Church of God and was a homemaker who was the heart of her family.Survivors include her husband, John W. Brown of the home; sons, Walter Brown and his wife, Merry Carol, Randall Brown and his wife, Debra and Allen Brown and his wife, Cindy, all of Belton, SC; daughters, Janet Barnes, Debra Nicholson and her husband, Donnie Ray, Jean Hansen and her husband, Kenneth, all of Belton, SC and Kim Brown of the home; brothers, Jack Holloway and his wife, Brenda, David Holloway and his wife, Jean, Marvin Holloway and his wife, Shelby, all of Belton, SC and Michael Holloway and his wife, Irene of Honea Path, SC; sisters, Inez Allen and her husband, Noah Lee and Daisy Crocker and her husband, C. J., all of Belton, SC. She is also survived by fourteen grandchildren, Andy, Cory and Alex Nicholson, Jamie Barnes, Chad, Brandy and Kevin Hansen, Cason, Krystal, Jessica, Gatlin, Joshua, John Walter II and Ashton Brown and five great-grandchildren, Haley Bannister, Sabrina Martin Hansen, Kyra Hansen, Sam and Natalee Brown. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a great-grandson, Connor Brown.The Funeral Service will be held on Sunday, May 13, 2007 at 4:00 pm at Cross Hill Church of God with the Reverends John Christmas, Edwin Huggins and Scott Burdette officiating. Interment will follow in Bethany Baptist Church Cemetery in Belton, SC.The family will receive friends at The McDougald Funeral Home on Saturday, May 12, 2007 from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Mrs. Brown will be placed in the church at 3:00 pm on Sunday.
