Peggy Elrod Driver, age 69, of Pendleton, SC, went home to be with her Lord Sunday, June 26, 2022, at her home. Born March 28, 1953, in Anderson Co., SC, she was a daughter of the late Rev. Guyton M. Elrod and Betty League Elrod. She was the devoted wife of Rev. Daniel Berry Driver for 48 years until his death in July 2021. Peggy retired from Blue Cross Blue Shield and was a member of Clinton Church of God of Prophecy. She enjoyed gardening, reading, and singing at her church. She was also an avid animal lover and treasured time with her fur baby, Gabbie. She is survived by her sisters, Linda McCall (Larry), and Debbie Lewis (Jimmy); and three nieces and three nephews. A memorial service will be held Tuesday, July 5, 2022, at 1:00 p.m. at East Clemson Fellowship. The family will receive friends an hour prior to the service.
