Peggy Giles, 80, of Anderson, SC passed away on Sunday, January 15, 2023. She was a homemaker and enjoyed cooking, reading and camping. She was born on December 3, 1942, in Anderson, SC to the late David Bruce and Mary Ida Bobo Bruce. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Harvey Mitchell Giles, Sr. She is survived by her son, Harvey Mitchell Giles, Jr. and Donna of Anderson; daughter, Lisa and Del Johnson of Port St. Joe, FL; and three grandchildren, Matthew and Samantha Johnson of GA, Joshua and Caroline Johnson of Monroe, GA and Seth and Shontinique Giles of Winder, GA. Visitation will be held from 12:00 pm - 2:00 pm Wednesday, January 25, 2023 at The McDougald Funeral Home. Graveside service will follow at 2:30 pm at Old Silver Brook Cemetery with Rev.
