PEGGY ROACH March 7, 1936, September 22, 2008ANDERSON, SCMrs. Peggy Roach, age 72, wife of John Milford Roach of 113 Lakewood Lane, passed away on Monday, September 22, 2008 at her residence.Born in Oconee County, SC on March 7, 1936, Mrs. Roach was a daughter of the late Wesley Allen Grant and Thelma Sheriff Grant. She was a homemaker and a former Home Health Assistant. She was a member of Townville Baptist Church.Survivors include her husband, John Milford Roach of the home; sons, Michael Holden of Anderson, Russell Holden of Townville and Scott Hall of Anderson; daughter, Pamela Martin of Anderson; brothers, Talmadge Grant of Anderson, Tommy Grant of Seneca and Ray Grant and James Grant, both of Townville; sisters, Carrie Lee Glenn of Anderson and Mary Panzner of Townville; five grandchildren, April Martin, Amy Martin, Andrea Martin, Alicia Martin and Tony Martin, Jr.In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a brothers Wess Grant and J. W. Grant and sisters, Cara Simmons, Burnie Glenn and Patsy Grant.The Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, September 24, 2008 at 3:00 pm in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home officiated by the Reverend Larry Cox. Interment will follow in Townville Baptist Church Cemetery.The family will receive friends at funeral home on Tuesday, from 6-8 pm.The family will be at the residence.Flowers are optional.
