Shaw, age 87, of 169 Dragon Alley, Anderson, passed away at her residence on Saturday, March 24, 2012 following a lengthy illness. Born in Fayetteville, TN, she was the daughter of the late Albert Loyd Gault and the late Mabel Margaret Ann Bates Gault. She was the wife of the late Earl Thompson Shaw who died in 1982.Peggy was a weaver at JP Stevens Appleton Mills for 22 years, and a member of Barnette's Grove Emmanuel Holiness Church.She is survived by a son, Doug Shaw (Shirley) of Anderson; a step daughter, Linda Ann Smith (Richard) of Anderson; 1 brother, Phillip R. Gault (Peggy); 5 sisters, Dorothy L. Cashion, Annie Pearl Thomas (Harold); all of Petersburg, TN; Alberta J. Taylor (Marion), of Tullahoma, TN; Brenda L. Bradford (Wayne), and Sharon Kay Naron; all of Shelbyville, TN. Also surviving are 6 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.In addition to her parents and husband, Mrs. Shaw was predeceased by one daughter, four sons four brothers and one sister. The family will received friends at The McDougald Funeral Home from 10:00 am until 11:30 am, Thursday, April 5, 2012 with a Graveside Service following at noon at New Silver Brook Cemetery officiated by Rev.
