Peggy Ann Jennings Surls, 71, of Anderson, SC passed away Tuesday, October 30, 2018 at AnMed Health Medical Center. Born July 14, 1947 in Clinton, SC, she was a daughter of Robert Jennings and the late Jeanette Chambers Jennings. In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph B. Surls; sister, Teresa Gaines and son-in-law, Steven LeCroy. She is survived by her son, Joseph B. Surls, Jr.(Elena); daughters, Melissa S. LeCroy, Carolyn S. Davis (Jason), Renea S. Rowland (Vance) and Charity S. Gilliam (Charlie); brother, Robert Jennings; sisters, Sarah Byrum, Carol Gilbert and Cynthia West; fourteen grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm Thursday, November 1, 2018 at The McDougald Funeral Home. The funeral service will be in the chapel at 2:00 pm Friday with Pastor Bruce Chambers officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Park. The family will be at the home at 101 Sterling Silver Drive, Anderson, SC 29626.
