Peggy Thrasher Ethel Virginia "Peggy" Keith Thrasher, age 90, passed away on Saturday, July 9, 2016, at National Healthcare of Anderson. Born October 27, 1925, in Anderson, SC, she was the daughter of the late Cleveland L. Keith and the late Ethel Rhoda Simpson Keith. Along with her husband, Lloyd Teasley "Skin" Thrasher, they started "Skins Hot Dogs" in 1946. Also, for several years, Peggy ran a daycare on Tribble Street. She was a member of North Anderson Baptist Church and the Ruth Sunday School Class. She is survived by her children, Lloyd Keith Thrasher and his wife Jane, of Mansfied, TX, Johnny Michael Thrasher and his wife Beth and Matthew Wayne Thrasher and his wife Kay, Peggy Rebecca "Becky" Thrasher Harbin and her husband Wayne, all of Anderson, SC; eight grandchildren, Dawn (Tim), Michelle (Jamie), Kelley (Todd), Russell (Jackie), Kristen (Jamey), Kayla (Byron), Bryan and Brett (Lauren); fourteen great-grandchildren, Drew, Garrett, Elijah, Zach, Christian, Haley, Taylor, Parker, Landon, Kaybree, Rollins, Asher, Samantha and Dylan; two sisters, Iris Dickson (R.V.) and Lucy McClellen both of Anderson. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd Teasley "Skin" Thrasher in 1998 and one sister, Edna Page. The Funeral Service will be held at Covenant Baptist Church on Sunday, July 17th. At 3:00 P.M., officiated by the Rev. Bill Rigsby and Rev. Steve Silvey. Entombment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park Mausoleum. The family will receive friends at the church on Sunday prior to the service from 1:00 PM until 2:30 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of the Upstate, 1835 Rogers Road, Anderson, SC 29621, the National MS Society, 3101 Industrial Dr., Raleigh, NC 27609 or Caris Hospice, 129 Straight Drive, Anderson, SC 29625.
