OBITUARY'CHIG' GLENNAUGUST 22, 1938 - DeceMBER 9, 2008LAFRANCE, SCPerry Ray 'Chig' Glenn, age 70, passed away on Tuesday, December 9, 2008 at AnMed Health Medical Center.Born in Hartwell, GA, on August 22, 1938, he was a son of the late W.T. & Bessie Mae Sammons Glenn. He was a retired textiles employee.Survivors include his wife, Minnie Joyce Thrasher Glenn; sons: Randy of Pendleton, Rickey of Seneca, Donnie of LaFrance, and Edward of LaFrance; sister, Marie Brown of Pendleton; brothers: Forrest of Townville, and Jimmy of Townville; sister, Ann Richardson of GA; six grandchildren; five step grandchildren; and three great grandchildren.In addition to his parents, Mr. Glenn was predeceased by a son, David Wayne Glenn; five brothers; and three sisters.The Funeral Service will be held at 3pm on Friday, December 12th, in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home conducted by the Reverends Bob Hart & Mike Harrell. Interment will follow in Memory Gardens.The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6pm until 8pm on Thursday.The family is at the residence, 18 Third Street, LaFrance.THE McDOUGALD FUNERAL HOME is in charge of the funeral arrangements.
