Phyllis Diane Arnold Allen, age 65, of Anderson, SC, passed away Sunday, May 21, 2023. She was born in Anderson on March 27, 1958, to the late Roger and Edna Arnold. She was also preceded in death by brothers Dale and Duane Arnold; daughter Wendey Hawkins; and grandson Baby George. Phyllis was a dental assistant for 25 years before retirement to co-own and help operate A Moment 'n' Tyme Photography with her husband. Phyllis was a spirit filled member of Tremont Church of God in Greenville. She worked in the mission field both locally and internationally, spreading the love of Christ. She had a passion for seniors and always had a helping hand. Phyllis never met a stranger and always had time for a chat. Phyllis enjoyed camping with family and loving on her grandchildren the most. She is survived by her husband, Bobby Allen, Jr.; sons, Roger Hawkins (Bonnie), Justin Mawyer (Jessie), Adam Mawyer (Brandi), and Brock Allen; 6 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild, Bryanna, Drake, Kaylee, Cheyenne, Stetson, Jack, and Kashton. The family will receive friends Thursday, May 25, 2023, from 5:00-7:00 pm at The McDougald Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held Friday, May 26, 2023, at 11:00 am at Tremont Church of God with Dr. Eddie Allen officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
