Born in Anderson, SC, on December 5, 1940, she was a daughter of the late A.H. 'Buck' Hanks and Merrie Lou Barkley Breazeale. Mrs. Evans was a commercial artist.Survivors include her daughter, Lori Miller and husband, Kevin Powell of Anderson; brother, Larry Hanks of Anderson; and Brenda King of Anderson; three grandchildren: Jeremy Miller, Haley Miller, and Codi Miller; and a great grandchild: Jaden Coe.She was predeceased by her parents; her husband, Michael Evans; and a brother, Donnie Hanks.The family will receive friends at The McDougald Funeral Home from 9:30 am until 10:30 am on Wednesday, September 9, 2009.
