Diane Hamm, 62, of 141 Erwin Circle, Starr, SC died on Friday, March 10, 2017 at her home. She was the daughter of Marie Winters Garland and the late Kenneth Garland born on November 19, 1954 in Anderson, SC. Diane is survived by her mother: Marie Winters Garland of Anderson, SC; her children: Dawn Poole (Michael) and Duane Hamm (Miranda) all of Anderson, SC; one brother: Dean Garland (Garrett) of Anderson, SC; and five grandchildren: Tyler King, Jace Poole, and Jaden, Brandon, and Braden Hamm. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, March 14, 2017 in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home at 2:00pm with Rev. Sam Duncan officiating. Interment will follow at New Silver Brook Cemetery in Anderson, SC. The Hamm family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Monday, March 13, 2017 at the funeral home.
