Phyllis Waters Hodges, 82, of Anderson, SC, passed away, Sunday, January 10, 2021, at AnMed Health Medical Center. Born, October 26, 1938 in Anderson, SC, she was the daughter of the late John Manning Waters and Lexie Cornelia Crawford Waters. She was married to Donald P. Hodges, Sr. until his death on January 3, 2021. Phyllis was retired from Bosch Corp. and was a member of Sierra Baptist Church. Left to cherish her memory are her children, Don Hodges, Jr. (Kathy) of Belton, SC, and Donna Mitchell (Perry) of Anderson, SC; sister, Nancy Jordan; and grandchildren, John Robert Mitchell and Phillip Payton Mitchell. She was also preceded in death by her brother, John Allan Waters. Family and friends may pay their respects and sign the Guest Register on Tuesday, January 12, 2021 from 10:00 am and 4:00 pm at The McDougald Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held at Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
