Polly Lyles Iva, SC Ophelia "Polly" Gail Thompson Lyles, age 56, passed away on Wednesday, May 6, 2015, at the Rainey Hospice House. Born in Anderson, SC, she was the daughter of the late Roy Glenn Thompson and the late Cleo Montez Hampton Thompson. She was a member of Broadway Lake Baptist Church. Polly is survived by her son, Allen Lee Lyles and his girlfriend, Kerwren, of Anderson, SC; four sisters, Teresa Price and her husband Ron, of Maxeys, GA, Sheila White and her husband Lewis, of Starr, SC, Debbie King and her husband Wayne, of Anderson, SC and Ray White, of Maxeys, GA; and two grandchildren, Zoi Elizabeth Lyles and Asher Lyles. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Sue Watson. The Funeral Service will be held in The Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home on Saturday, May 9, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. with Reverend Dwight Greene and Reverend Early Tucker officiating. Interment will be scheduled at a later date at M.J. Dolly Cooper Veterans Cemetery. The family will be at the home of Allen Lyles, 1403 Johanna Circle, Anderson, and will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, May 8, 2015 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Flowers will be accepted.
