Preston Lewis, 81, of Anderson, SC, passed away Wednesday, October 2, 2019 at his home. Born November 3, 1937 in Fairplay, SC, he was a son of the late Autice Leard Lewis and Fannie Mae Davis Lewis. Preston was a veteran of the United States Army and was retired from BASF. He was Past Master at Hiram Lodge #68 and spent 24 years as the Fire Chief at Broadway Volunteer Fire Department. He was a member of Concord Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife, Nancy Ondean Callahan Lewis; sisters, Rachel Floyd of Lavonia, GA and Margaret Richardson of Anderson; and brother in law, Hugh Isbell. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his sisters, Betty Mildred Lewis Isbell, Gladys Sammons, and Eunice Stansell; and brothers, Robert, Junior and Clayton Davis. A cryptside service will be held at 2:00pm Saturday, October 5, 2019 at Forest Lawn Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel with Rev. Dr. Ron Fousek officiating.
