Prue Wallace Holcombe, 84, of Central, SC, passed away Monday, December 23, 2019 at Rainey Hospice House. Born September 30, 1935 in Anderson, SC, he was a son of the late James Milledge Holcombe and Annie Sargent Holcombe. Prue was a veteran of the United States Army Reserves and worked in sales for security systems. He is survived by his wife, Joyce Holcombe; son, Brent Holcombe (Sara) of Jupiter, FL; sister, Betty Kenny of Memphis, TN; and grandson, Dylan James Holcombe. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brothers, Thomas and Cecil Holcombe. A gathering of friends and family will be held Monday, December 30, 2019 from 2:00-3:00pm at The McDougald Funeral Home.
