Rachel Barker Dilworth passed away on Wednesday, April 12, 2017 at her son's home. Born in Arcadia, SC, on September 14, 1928, she was the daughter of the late Thomas Edward Barker and the late Ruth Mitchell Barker. She retired from Southern Bell and was a member of Boulevard Baptist Church. Rachel was the last surviving member of her immediate family. She is survived by her children, Ross M. Dilworth and his wife Lisa, of Starr, SC, and Donna D. McCown and her husband Jack of Tuscaloosa, AL; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles P. Dilworth, Jr.; and a brother, Roy Barker. The Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, April 15, 2017, at 1:30 p.m. in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home with Reverend Dr. Johnny F. McKinney officiating. The family will gather for a time of visitation following the service. Entombment will be at Woodlawn Memorial Park Mausoleum.
