Strickland, passed away on Sunday, November 10, 2013 at the Rainey Hospice House. Born on September 30, 1926 , she was the daughter of the late Olaf Levi Osley Sr. and the late Josephine Dixon Osley. Mrs. Strickland was a homemaker and employed by at the Looking Glass Dress Shop for seventeen years. She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church for 57 years. She is survived by her son; Michael H. Strickland and his wife, Betty of Anderson, SC; and her daughter, Alice Strickland McCallum and her husband, Stan of Anderson, SC; one granddaughter, Haley Strickland Davis and her husband Michael of Pomaria, SC; one great-grandson, Cullen Davis; brothers, O.L. Osley , Jr. and Randy Osley both of Royston, GA; sisters, Edna Callaway of Colbert, GA ., and Laurayne Weaver of Royston, GA. The Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, November 12, 2013, at 3:00 PM, at Trinity United Methodist Church with the Reverend Paul Frey officiating. Private entombment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends in the fellowship hall at the church from 1:30 PM until 2:45 pm prior to the service. The family would like to express their appreciation to Marlene Craft , Bobbi Medlin, and the staff of station 2 at NHC in Anderson for their special care and love of our mother.
