Rachel Ann Coffee Warren, age 82, of Anderson, SC, loving wife to Clark Warren for 60 years, went home to be with her Lord on Saturday, March 19, 2022, at her residence surrounded by her loving family. Born September 12, 1939, in Anderson, SC, she was the daughter of the late Otis Lee Coffee and Annie Lee Vassar Coffee. Rachel worked at Gable's Clothing Store, and also at White Jones Hardware where she later retired. She was a dedicated member of Varennes Heights Baptist Church where she taught Sunday School. Most of all, she treasured and loved her granddaughters who were very special to her. In addition to her devoted husband Clark, she is survived by her son, Kevin Warren, and his wife Paige; and granddaughters, Hope and Caroline Warren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her four sisters, Claudia Willis, Lillie Marett, Earline Patterson, and Ruby Nell Smith; and brother, David Coffee. The family will receive friends Wednesday, March 23, 2022, from 12:00 p.m. until 1:30 p.m. at The McDougald Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow visitation in the Chapel at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. David Pickens and Rev. David Blizzard officiating. Burial will follow at New Silver Brook Cemetery.
