RAFORD I. McABEE, JR. Raford Irvin McAbee, Jr., age 57, of 632 Palmetto Lane, passed away on Sunday, February 1, 2015, at Rainey Hospice House. Born on February 13, 1957 in Mullins, SC, he was the son of the late Raford Irvin McAbee, Sr. and the late Dorothy Mae Jenerette McAbee. For many years, Mr. McAbee was a long haul truck driver, and was employed by the Danny Herman Trucking Company of Mt. City, Tennessee. Survivors include a daughter, Erica McAbee of Anderson; 2 grandchildren, Isaiah McAbee and Jeremiah Mitchell, both of the home; also surviving is Raford's former wife, Marsha McAbee of Anderson. A memorial service will be held on Friday, February 6, 2015, at 3 p.m. at the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home with Rev. Stanley Cole officiating.
