BOGGS April 24, 1934 - December 30, 2010FAIR PLAY, SCMr. Ralph Lewis Boggs, age 76, husband of BettyJane Hoffpauir Boggs of 3442 Old Dobbins Bridge Road, died Thursday, December 30, 2010 at his residence.Born in Oakway, SC on April 24, 1934, Mr. Boggs was a son of the late Saratus Arlington Boggs and Nellie Eloise Martin Boggs. He was a graduate of Boys' High School and worked for BASF in Research and Development for over 25 years, retiring in 1994. He enjoyed traveling and was an avid fisherman. Mr. Boggs was a member of the Woodman of the World and Temple Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife of the home; son, Neelis Boggs and his wife, Joyce of Fair Play, SC; daughter, Paula B. Swofford and her son, Chase Swofford of Plano, TX; brother, Harold Boggs of Melrose, FL and Jessie Boggs of Dallas, GA and sister, Julia Ann Stitcher of Covington, GA. The Funeral Service will be held on Monday, January 3, 2011 at 11:am at Forest Lawn Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel officiated by the Reverend Gordon Taylor and Dr. Larry Pearson. Entombment will follow.
