Mr. Jones served in the United States Army and retired from Ford Motor Company in Cleveland, Ohio, to Townville, South Carolina. While a resident of Townville, he was active within the Pendleton Masonic Lodge ' having served as Past Master.Survivors include his son, James Owen 'Jim' Jones of Asheville, NC; and three step grandchildren: Andre, Kayla, and Amber. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his wife, Ruth Bridges Jones; sister, Roxie Lantz; and two twin brothers: Hayward Jones and Hayes Jones.The Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, March 24, 2011, in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home conducted by Dr. Jack Couch.
