Ralph Franklin King, Jr., 77, passed away Friday October 5, 2018 at his home. He was born in Anderson on July 15, 1941 and was the son of the late Judge Ralph Franklin King, Sr. and the late Edith Brown King. He served his Country in the U.S. Army and was a member of First Presbyterian Church of Anderson. He retired from banking as a vice president and was a proud graduate of Clemson University Class of 1963.
Left to cherish his memory, is his beloved wife, Laurie Glenn King; sons, Ralph F. King, III (Karen), Joseph Louis King, and Kevin Scott King; daughters, Kelli King Rawls (Joey) and Ashlee King McCaslan; grandchildren, Dr. Landon Joseph King (Caitlin), Megan Alexandra King, Rachel Kay Kingswood (Jeff), Noah Franklin King, Bradford Patrick McCaslan, Addyson Elizabeth McCaslan, and Callie Rushton Rawls; sister, Helen King Turner (Frank) and his beloved dog, "Sully".
A memorial service will be held at the First Presbyterian Church of Anderson on Monday, October 8, 2018 at 1 pm with Dr. Dennis Tedder officiating. The family will greet friends immediately following the service at the Church.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Meals on Wheels, 105 S. Fant Street, Anderson, SC 29624 or the Salvation Army, 106 Tolly Street, Anderson, SC 29624.
