RALPH SPIVEY December 25, 1928 - August 10, 2006 ANDERSON, SCMr. Ralph Edward Spivey, age 77, husband of Shirley Pierce Spivey of 410 Chauga Drive, died Thursday, August 10, 2006 at his residence.Born in Greenwood, SC on December 25, 1928, Mr. Spivey was a son of the late Leroy Otto Spivey and Jessie Mae Farmer Spivey. He was retired from Owens Corning Fiberglas and was a United States Air Force veteran. He was of the Baptist Faith. He is survived by his wife of twenty-eight years, Shirley Pierce Spivey, of the home; sons, Ron Spivey and his wife, Margaret of Anderson, Wayne Spivey and his wife, Alicia of Seneca; daughters, Lisa Webb and her husband, Jeff of Belton and Kristi Prince and her husband, Jeff of Williamston; four grandchildren, Heather, Brian, Brooke and Brendon and one great-granddaughter, Felicity.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers; a sister and a grandson.The Funeral Service will be held on Sunday, August 13, 2006 at 3:00 pm in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home officiated by the Reverend Sam Duncan. Entombment will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Park Mausoleum with Military Honors.The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday, August 12, 2006 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm.The family will be at the residence.In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, Upstate SC Chapter, 521 N.
