Ramon Bravo Zarate, 75 years of age, of Anderson, South Carolina, passed away on Friday, January 10, 2025, at the Rainey Hospice House, Anderson, SC.

Born February 13, 1949, in San Jose de la Paz, Jalisco, Mexico, he was the son of the late Jose Guadalupe Bravo and the late Maria del Carmen Zarate. He was also preceded in death by his daughter, Jennifer Bravo and eight siblings.

He was a member of St. Mary of the Angels Catholic Church and proud Andersonian; a town that was a formative part of his life, entrepreneurship, and the nurturing and raising of his family.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Esperanza Ornelas Bravo; children, Griselda Maners and husband Dwayne, Omar Bravo and his wife Casandra, Ramiro Bravo and his partner Edriana, Janet Bravo and her husband Edgardo, and twin sons, Christopher and Nicholas Bravo; siblings Consuelo, Angelina and Guadalupe; and grandchildren, Zachary, Mercedes, Christian, Matteo, Maximilian, Theo, Gael, Lucas, and Julian.

The Funeral Mass will be held at 12 noon on Monday, January 13, 2025, at St. Mary of the Angels Catholic Church, White Street, Anderson, SC. Interment with funeral services will follow in San Jose de la Paz Jalisco, Mexico.

Mr. Bravo will be in state at the McDougald Funeral Home from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm on Sunday, January 12, 2025. The family will be in attendance to greet friends and family.
