He served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War and was employed as a truck driver for over forty years. He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Beverly McGaha Davis of the home; daughter, Ashley Huffstetler of Anderson; two grandchildren, Kayleigh and Kevin Huffstetler; brothers, George Davis of Powdersville, SC and David Davis of Sterlington, LA.In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a brother, Billy J. Davis and a sister, Dorothy A. Wright.The Funeral Service will be held on Monday, December 20, 2010 at 11:00 am in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home officiated by the Reverend Morton Belk. Interment will follow in M. J.
