William Randall Shirley, 66, of Iva, SC passed away on Friday, December 21, 2018 at his home. Born April 19, 1952 in Anderson, SC, he was a son of the late Charles Alvis and Gladys Brown Shirley. He was a graduate of Clemson University and owner operator of Browns 5&10 Variety Store. He attended Lowndesville Pentecostal Holiness Church. Randall enjoyed farming and raising cows. He loved his family, which was his first love. He was a devoted husband, loving father and was known as a gentle giant. He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Theresa "Cindy" Dooley Shirley of the home; sons, William Randall Shirley, Jr. and Charles Paul Shirley; sister, Sylvia Stickney, niece, Marci Robins and one granddaughter, Christina Louise Shirley. The family will receive friends from 1-3pm Saturday, December 22, 2018 at The McDougald Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow in the chapel at 3:30pm with Rev. Scotty Willoughby officiating. Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Park. The family will be at the residence.
