Randy Steven "Steve" Allen, age 67, of Anderson, SC, went to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Wednesday, September 11, 2024.

He was born in Anderson, SC, to Letitia Latham Vickery and Vic Allen. Steve was a loyal member of Freedom Baptist Ministry. He was a Christian that loved Jesus and became an ordained minister. He loved the Gamecocks and was also an avid NASCAR fan.

Steve is survived by his loving wife of 20 years, Pamela Davis Allen; fur baby "Dusty"; sister-in-law, Tammy Davis; mother and father-in-law, Mary and James Hightower; son, Chad Gentry; sisters, Jackie Adams and Dawn Brooks; brothers, Jody Allen and Clarence Allen; 3 granddaughters and 2 great grandsons along with several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Terry and Vincent Allen; sister, Vaughnda Carithers; and nephew, Brian Owens.

The family will receive friends Wednesday, September 18, 2024, from 12:00-1:45 pm at The McDougald Funeral Home. The funeral service will begin at 2:00 pm in the Chapel. Burial will follow at Six and Twenty Baptist Church Cemetery in Pendleton.
