Randal Stephen Chambers, 60, passed away suddenly Friday, January 24, 2020 at his home. Born August 29, 1959 in Hartwell, GA, he was a son of Lena Faye McCollum and the late James Steve Chambers, Jr. and the stepson of the late Charles McCollum. Randy worked as a heavy equipment operator in construction. He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Sonja Lewis Chambers; daughters Carly Chambers (Randell Hughett) of Anderson, Nikki McAbee (Bo) of West Columbia, and Kelly Chambers of Anderson; brother, Rick Chambers (Kadena) of Iva; and one grandchild, Cloe McAbee. Randy was also predeceased by his grandmother, Minnie Chambers. There will be a gathering of friends and family on Saturday, February 8, 2020 from 6:00-8:00 pm at The McDougald Funeral Home.
