Randy Glendenning, aged 65, of Starr, SC passed away January 6, 2023. He was born December 17, 1957, to Geraldine (Geri) Neely and Clarence Glendenning in Artesia, NM. Lovingly raised by Geri and Fancher Delos Kinman. He grew up in Hobbs, NM, where his parents would take him and his siblings Fancher Jr, Shane, Jerry, and Allen Dean hunting and fishing. After meeting the love of his life Lorraine, he packed up his life and moved to Long Island, NY. They were married October 3,1987. He stepped into the huge role of parenting, with his new stepchildren Bernie, Michelle, Jennifer, and Carolyn. In 1988, welcomed his beloved daughter, Leisha. Randy was an extremely hard worker, and started and ran his own Fence Company, Enclosed Fence for many years. He was a die-hard Pittsburgh Steelers fan and continued his passion for hunting and fishing. As well as being an avid hot air balloon crew member. Every year Randy and Lorraine would travel to Albuquerque, NM for the annual hot air balloon festival. In retirement, they returned to his roots and moved to the peace and tranquility of country living in Anderson County, SC. Randy spent his free time enjoying his grandchildren, fishing in his boat on the lake, hiking, and tending to his gardens. He is survived by his loving wife of 35 years, Lorraine; Children Bernie, Michelle (Don), Jennifer (Scott), Carolyn (Alvin), Leisha (Josh), Missy (Rob), and Danielle (Eddie). Devoted grandfather to Rebecca, Alexandra, Bernie, Emily, Victor, Josh, Kiera, Kenny, Jolina, Maximus, Michael, Mikayla, Hailey, Jonathan, Harmony, Jamison, Joyce, Shyanne, Nicole, Elizabeth, Emily, and Elena. He was loved by his extended family and friends likewise near and far.
