Hilliard, Jr., age 60 of 1009 Lady's Lane, Anderson, husband of the late Vicki Olson Hilliard, died Thursday, May 08, 2008 at the Rainey Hospice House in Anderson, SC.Born in Anderson, SC on December 28, 1947, Mr. Hilliard was a son of the late Ray C. Hilliard, Sr., and Peggy Bolt Hilliard. He served in the United States Army and retired from Florida Furniture as a Manufacturing Representative after 23 years. He was a member of Concord Baptist Church where he was the first Royal Ambassador.Survivors include his daughter, Jill Hilliard Reid and her husband, B. J.; sisters, Ann Turpen and Jean Smith; two step-grandchildren all of Anderson and two favorite friends, Dixiana and Reece.In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Jim Hilliard and a sister, Mary Sutherland.The Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, May 10, 2008 at 11:00 am in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home officiated by the Reverend Bob Marcaurelle.
