RAY HILTON July 2, 1925 - June 26, 2008STARR, SCMr. Ray Von Hilton, age 82, of 309 Camelot Drive, husband of the late Rosa Nell Tilley Hilton, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, June 26, 2008 at his residence.Born in Catawba County, NC on July 2, 1925, Mr. Hilton was the son of the late Raymond Garfield Hilton and Katie Eisenhower Hilton. He retired from Appleton Mill and was of the Holiness Faith.Survivors include his sons, Johnny Andrews and wife, Diane of Williamston, Ricky Hilton Sr., and wife, Debbie of Georgia, Ted Hilton and wife, Sonya, Mike Hilton and wife, Angela, and Ricky Hilton Jr., and wife, Susan, all of Anderson and Vince Hilton of Starr; daughters, Shirley Gailey and husband Billy and Patsy Hilton, all of Starr, Elaine Carr and Judy Hilton and husband, Danny Hendricks, all of Anderson and Alice Glenn and husband Danny of Fair Play; sister, Edna Brown of Texas; 32 grandchildren and 33 great-grandchildren.Mr. Hilton was also preceded in death by a grandson, James David Shedd, Jr. A Graveside service will be held on Friday, June 27, 2008 at 2:00 pm at New Silverbrook Cemetery conducted by the Reverend Sam Duncan.The family will receive friends immediately following the graveside service at the residence.A message of condolence may be sent to the family by visitingwww.mcdougaldfuneralhome.comThe McDougald Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
