Alfred Ray Link, 80 of Anderson, SC passed away Thursday, June 15, 2017 at AnMed Health Medical Center. Born May 4, 1937 in Pendleton, SC, Ray was a son to the late Joe Berry Link and Corine Taylor Link. He was a graduate of Boys High School and a member of Abiding Savior Lutheran Church. He retired from the United States Army as First Sergeant after 22 years of service. During his time of service he had three tours in Vietnam as a medic. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Ronny Link; daughter, Lilyan Aguruso; three grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. He was also preceded in death by his son, Myles Link. The graveside service will be held at 4:00 pm Friday, June 16, 2017 at Forest Lawn Memorial Park with Pastor Howard Jones officiating.
