RAYFORD MOORE, JR January 9, 1969 - May 10, 2008ANDERSON, SCMr. Rayford William Moore, Jr., age 39 of 516 Bowen Street, died Saturday in Anderson.Born in Anderson, SC on January 9, 1969, Rayford was a son of Sharon Worley of Anderson and the late Rayford William Moore, Sr. He was a General Contractor and helped with disaster relief in the Gulf Coast and in Florida after several hurricanes. Survivors include his daughter, Rayven Dianna Moore; Samantha 'Sambo' Earnest, who was raised in the home; a brother, Dennis Moore, all of Anderson and grandparents, Ernest and Elise Bowen of Williamston.In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his grandparents, Alex and Nellie Ruth Moore.The Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, May 17, 2008 at 11:00 am in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home officiated by the Reverend Danny Keen. Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Anderson.The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 9:00 am to 10:30 am.The family will be at the home of his mother, 505 Burris Street, Anderson, SC.In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in honor of Rayford Moore, Jr. to Landmark Free Will Baptist Church, 128 Camellia Drive, Anderson, SC 29625.
