Raymond "Keith" Freeman Fair Play, SC Raymond "Keith" Freeman, age 73, of Fair Play, SC, passed away on Thursday, October 23, 2014 in Lavonia, GA. Born in Fairmont, WV, on December 6, 1940, he was the son of the late Elmer Raymond Freeman and the late Virginia Haney Flacy. He was also the step-son to the late Leroy Flacy. He proudly served his country in the United States Air Force and prided himself on being a successful entrepreneur. He is survived by four children, Michael Freeman, of Corona, CA, Valorie Freeman, of Fair Play, SC and Robert "Bob" Freeman, of Lavonia, GA; and their mother, Carmen Freeman: and his son, David Mark Potter, of Durham, NC; three sisters, Judy Ashby, and her husband Tom, of Abbeville, SC, Kathie Smith, of Prescott, AZ, and Susan Clemens and her husband Wayne, of Prescott, AZ; uncles and aunts, Dale and Kathryn Haney, of Fairmont, WV and James and Joanne Kearns, of Parkersburg, WV; and many nieces and nephews as well as many cousins. The Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, November 1, 2014, at 12:00 p.m. in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home. Final disposition for Mr. Freeman's remains will be at a later date in Mt. Zion United Methodist Church Cemetery in Fairmont, WV. Memorial donations may be directed to Mt. Zion United Methodist Church, in care of George Swearingen, 78 Hollow Tree Lane, Farimont, WV 26554.
